I have been shopping my closet quite a bit as of late looking to fine tune my wardrobe and elevate my style. Although I absolutely love color and that will never change. I always seem find myself drawn back to classic neutrals. I always have them in my closet because I use them to pair with my more bold, bright and colorful pieces. But I find myself having a trying time the it comes to pairing them together for different looks. So what I have started doing is turning to Pinterest and Instagram for style inspiration and looks that I can recreate with similar pieces I already own. I have to tell you I love how the looks have been turning out and looking on me and I am so happy to have a platform to share with all you because I am able to show you that us tall girls can slay just as our shorter sisters do. I mean look a couple of pictures down and you will see the gorgeous Stylish Petite that I recreated a look from. She is under 5 feet tall and under 100 pounds. I’m 6’4 and over 200 pounds and I think we both look great. It proves that style has no size!

Pantone 2020 Color of the Year: Classic Blue

Blue is my favorite color and so I was happy when it was chosen as Pantone’s 2020 color of the year! I thought this is great because that means there will be so many fabulous options in the wonderful hue that I love so much. But as it goes the only new item I purchased this year in the classic blue color was this striped tee from Old Navy. I already had this blue blazer and pants from Banana Republic. The tee was a basic and I needed to add more of those to my wardrobe and it has fit in quite nicely. I love how it pairs with this “suit” and how it will pair with them later as separates as well. Unfortunately, everything I’m wearing is old and I was unable to find similar items in the same price range, that were available in tall sizes. So no links for this look.

Women’s Tall Orange Dresses

Orange is a combination of yellow (happiness) and red (energy) and is therefore considered an energetic color. Orange calls to mind feelings of fascination, creativity, happiness, excitement, determination, enthusiasm, and warmth. Just to name a few. How do you feel about the color orange? Is it a color you would wear? This gorgeous orange maxi dress that I am wearing today was a great sale find a couple of months ago from ASOS tall. For reference I am 6’4″ tall and wearing a size 14 tall. My sandals have about a 3″ heel, so you can see this dress is truly a tall size. Unfortunately since I purchased it a couple of months ago it is now sold out. But I have linked several women’s tall orange dresses that I love, below.
